Airport Information


  • Holiday Taxis (easyJet.holidaytaxis.com) take you from home to the airport, then city or destination.

  • Visit the Europcar desk on arrival for special easyJet inflight rates.

  • The journey to the centre costs about €40.

  • There are seven trains an hour from Schiphol airport to Centraal station. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Tickets: €3.80 single; €6.40 same-day return.

  • The name Amsterdam refers to the Amstel River and the Dam that was built on it, which together define the former village that is still known today as Amsterdam.
