Airport Information


  • Holiday Taxis (easyJet.holidaytaxis.com) take you from home to the airport, then city or destination.

  • ARST buses to the city centre leave every 30 minutes from 8.45am-22.45pm. Tickets: €2.

  • Visit the Europcar desk on arrival for special easyJet inflight rates.

  • The 10-minute journey to the centre costs about €20.

  • The town of Villasimius celebrates the Madonna del Naufrago with folklore shows, Sardinian delicacies and a boat procession to an underwater statue (18-19 July).
  • Every evening in summer locals meet on the central Piazza Yenne to start off their night out. It's a great place to hang out and people-watch.
  • Punta Is Molentis is a superb beach with crystalclear waters on the south-western coast, about 60 kilometres from Cagliari. Take the coastal road northwards from Villasimius to get to the beach.

  • The necropolis of Tuvixeddu dates back more than 2,500 years to the Phoenician-Punic period. It is the largest 'city of the dead' in the Mediterranean.
